What happens when you wake up in a hotel suite next to a gorgeous naked man with absolutely no memory of the past twelve hours?
I guess it's true what they say. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
Or at least I hope it stays here. The Romantic Style convention was meant to be a weekend of raucous fun with friends, sun, and enough poolside margaritas to forget about my ex. But now, instead of meeting my fans and signing books, I'm stuck with cocky divorce lawyer Nate Wexler. He's arrogant, infuriating, and I can't keep my hands off of him. Judging by the state of our hotel room, last night was wild. I just wish I could remember it.
A pair of matching tattoos. A cheap wedding veil. A half empty box of glow in the dark condoms.
What the hell just happened?

This was my first Lila Monroe book, and I’m so happy I was asked to read it! It was such a fun read that I didn’t want it to end. I easily sat down and read it in one sitting as I laughed and smiled throughout the whole thing. In a way it reminded me a bit of the Hangover with the both Nate and Julie meeting in Vegas, getting drunk, and then trying to figure out what happened the night before. It was perfect from the plot down to the uniqueness of both characters.
I loved as the puzzle of the night before started to fill itself in, we got relive their crazy Vegas night, and the characters began to let down their walls of past hurt and see the other as a possibility. This is full of twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. If you’re looking for a fun book that you can’t put down that will keep you smiling, laughing and unable to put down for page one then I highly recommend this book.
Everyone goes to Vegas hoping they’ll get lucky. More often than not, they go home disappointed. Sometimes, though, just sometimes, you get lucky beyond your wildest dreams. What happens then? You go all in.
Nate Wexler is in Vegas for his best friends wedding while Julia Stevens is there for a romance convention. Both have come out of a seriously bad break-ups. Nate, who’s a divorce attorney, constantly sees the failures of relationships and along with his own has given up on love and relationships. He’s bitter, to say the least.
Why is it whenever I look at this woman, I feel myself losing control? I never liked that before.
Julia is a romance writer and doesn’t want to give up on love even after the end of her five-year marriage. She’s constantly looking at life as a romance novel and that made me love her free spirit. Letting herself get lost in her crazy thoughts imagining if the scenario was like one of her books. She is just so FUN! She easily charmed me with her wit, her easy love for life, and that she was so genuine. A person that I would love as a friend.
At first, Nate doesn’t come off the best. To say it nicely he was a giant jerk. He may be a jerk, arrogant and judgemental from the moment he bumps into Julia, but he’s also gorgeous, funny, and passionate. The perfect hero in a romance. With all his flaws he still was able to draw Julia and me to him, making us both swoon. I love watching his lose control when he was around Julia, letting go and coming alive.
How can you want to kill someone and then never want them to ever leave you again, all within forty-eight hours?
Lila Monroe has a new fan. I loved everything about this story. It has EVERYTHING and MORE!!! You’ve got the humor, passion, a crazy adventure, steamy sex, tattoos, and romance. I don’t want to give too much away of all their crazy fun. I want you to experience it for yourself. I think you’ll love it as much as I did.
I don’t want to make what could be the mistake of my life because I was too goddamn scared.”
