Irreverent, cocky, playful and naughty. He’s not the guy you date. He’s the one night stand. The one your mother warned you about. The one your body craves.
You’d think the man who called me succulent would want to strip me down and spread me out on his bed—like he’s done with countless others. But he passed on my offer….Just like I’d once passed on his. He’s wary, like I am. He’s broken, like I am. And everyone knows two broken parts can’t ever make a whole. Tahoe and I are strictly friends. So I distract myself with other men. He doesn’t think my new man is good enough. This blond blue-eyed beast doesn’t think any man is—himself included. But the more time we spend together, the more confused I feel. I'm trying to open myself to love. Yet I'm quickly realizing that the only man I want is Tahoe Roth. The one man who will surely break my heart.
A sexy new contemporary romance from New York Time and USA Today bestselling author Katy Evans. Although connected to the Manwhore series, this book can be read as standalone.

Perfection! Tahoe Roth is an Alpha, broken, raw, bad boy who will intoxicate you. I think this is Katy Evan’s best book yet! She just keeps getting better and better. I absolutely loved Ladies Man and fell in love with Tahoe Roth page after page! This friends-to-lovers romance hit all the feels! I could not stop reading it. The more I read, the more I feel in love with the Tahoe that he let Gina see. It’s intense, beautiful, and broken.
When we first meet Tahoe Roth, he’s cocky, infuriating, and a manwhore to the extreme. Gina was unsuccessful in my eyes of hiding how much she wanted Tahoe in the previous books. She continues to try and deny her attraction and as everyone’s lives are changing around her Gina is in need of a friend. Who does she turn to? The one man she can’t get out of her mind. Tahoe.
Tahoe turns out to be a great friend. There were a couple of times I wanted to slap Gina upside the head when she didn’t realize what a great listener he was and all the things he did for her. Their banter was flirty and infectious, and the back and forth nearly did me in. You could feel their want and lust for one another to the point of intoxicating the reader. I respected that they didn’t want to ruin their friendship, but I craved the moment they finally gave in.
Tahoe goes from the seemingly selfish, bad boy, heartbreaker to out to be amazing so what’s the problem? The big problem is that he doesn’t think he’s good for her and can’t make her happy. Both Gina and Tahoe have something holding them back from looking for love .
I want every moment to feel like it does when I’m with the man I’m sitting next to right now. Even the sad moments, the hopeless moments, the silent moments or the funny ones, or the deep ones, or the surprising ones—simply every moment, I want that spark that is always there, the sizzle, the light, the joy, that comes with being near HIM.
I was unprepared for how much I would love Tahoe. He’s the best kind of beast. I want to gush about all the ways I fell for him, but my words cannot do him justice. Katy Evans’s writes him to perfection in this a slow-burn romance. It was so slow that I was getting hopeful that they might get their own series. I am not ready to let them go. Callan will be getting his own book, and I can’t wait to see Tahoe, Gina, Rachel, and Malcolm in it and what’s going on in their lives. I loved watching both the characters grow, and Gina accepts herself and stops hiding behind her mask.
Suddenly I just want him to see me, the real me, all of me, bare. And I want him to like what he sees…
Katy Evans has had me in her hooks since I first read Real and with each book and each series she continues to reel me in with her writing style of deep emotion that each character brings. She is one of my favorite authors and I look forward to she want she comes up with next. I cannot recommend Ladies Man enough. It’s perfection! This friends-to-lovers romance will intoxicate you, leaving you spellbound from the beginning to the very end. This is a spin-off of the Manwhore series and can be read as a standalone although I recommend you read the previous books about Malcolm and Rachel since they are wonderful.
