"Instincts are what keep us safe from fate. Ignoring them can change your life forever." Fame and fortune arrived overnight and after months on the road with her singing tour, all Estelle craves is peace. Tired and ready for paradise, she travels to Fiji to recuperate.
Stubborn and surly, Galloway is avoided by most--which is exactly the way he likes it. However, he's done spending his life in regret and hopes to find redemption in the tropical wilderness.
Together, they board the flight that changes their fate forever. Crash landing on a deserted island, they not only have to figure out how to survive with no skills and daily dangers--learning how to fish, find water, and build shelter--but also inherit two children who look to them to keep them alive.
However, staying alive might be the least of Galloway's and Estelle's problems. As days creep to months and rescue doesn't find them, their desire for each other ignites. They started as strangers. They grew to be friends. They fought the desire to be lovers.
Lust can be the most beautiful thing. Love the most rewarding. But not on an island where life hangs by a thread and giving into temptation can kill you.
Can they survive being forgotten or will love be their ultimate undoing?

I wanted to share with you my experience of reading this epic book that I spent the weekend binge reading. I know I won’t do the author or the book justice, but I hope you’ll read Unseen Messages and enjoy it as much as I did. It’s a book I’ll never forget as the writing and characters etched their way into my heart.
Within minutes of finishing, I ordered the paperback that I can’t wait to put on my bookshelves. Can we start with the cover? It’s as beautiful as the book itself. If ever there were a cover to make you want to read a book it’s this one. It’s breathtaking. I love everything about it. The same can be said for Estelle and Galloway’s story.
… the island had become a friend, too. A living entity that provided for us, sheltered us, and ultimately kept us trapped. It was a prison and salvation all at once.
The cover drew me in, but it was the blurb about survival romance that insisted that I read this story. I knew I needed to give my full attention to this book so I waited until the weekend when I could sequester myself away from distractions, and I’m glad I did. Once I started, I could not stop. I don’t think I’ve read a book that long faster than I did this one. It flowed effortlessly from page one to the very last page. It’s been a long time since I became so attached to the characters of a book. Even now as I write this review, I don’t want to let them go. As I think back to events that took place, I’m still smiling and tearing up at this unique, epic love story that spans years.
LIFE OFFERS EVERYONE messages. Either unnoticeable or obvious, it’s up to us to pay attention. I didn’t pay attention. Instinct tried to take notice; the world tried to prevent my downfall. I didn’t listen. I’ll forever wonder what would’ve happened if I had paid attention to those messages. Would I have survived? Would I have fallen in love? Would I have been happy?
Not only is this a love story but it’s a story about second chances, redemption, survival, growth, desperate need for one another but above all it was about living. The story starts off as Estelle arrives at the airport and receives multiple warnings that she should not board the plane. She didn’t listen, and instead, her life changed. Everything was taken away, and three unknown people became her world.
Once within a song, a music lover and a broken man fell from the sky. It changed their lives forever.
My heart galloped in my chest as I read their final flight knowing it would be their last. Goosebumps erupted on my skin as I read their fear. Never before had I had such an experience from reading a book. This book is perfect from page one with the amazing connections formed between the survivors, right down to the epilogue.
This is my first book by the wonderful author Pepper Winters, but she has made me a fan. I lived, breathed, and anguished over their journey. I cannot recommend this story enough, and there is so much I want to tell you, but I want you to experience this for yourself.
